The Waiheke Bridge Club welcomes all visitors and newcomers to our bridge club
The Waiheke Bridge Club is affiliated to the New Zealand Bridge Club and visitors are welcome at all sessions. We also field several interclub teams.
Day play : Tuesday 10 am-2.15 pm (bring your lunch but we supply tea and coffee )
Night play: Wednesday 7pm (free coffee, tea and biscuits)
Practice play: Fridays at 1pm with Christiane & Enyth. All welcome.
Table money for each session is $5. Please be at the club 15 minutes before the session time starts at the Catherine Mitchell Hall, 32 Putiki Road.
We have a booking system for partners and a programme listing our  competitions for the year.  If you need a partner please contact Steve Meeking 021 718468 or stevemeeking18@gmail.com for Wednesday play or Sue Humphrey on sue@weddingsetc.co.nz or 021 4300 323 for Tuesdays.
We have social bridge most Friday evenings at 7pm – contact Jill Patterson 021 0274 8398 if you would like to play – partners preferred.
The Waiheke Bridge Weekend is being held on 1-2 November proudly sponsored by Waiheke Retirement Village – LifeCare Residences. It comprises the Babich NZ Wide Pairs on 1 November at 7.17 pm and The Waiheke Tournament on 2 November at 10.15 am at the Palm Beach Hall and all bridge players are welcome at either or both events. A fantastic result from our members at the 2019 NZ Bridge Congress. Chris Curreen and Tom Mulvey came 3rd in Intermediate Swiss pairs; Felicity Hannay and Barry Chisholm came 6th in NZ Intermediate pairs and our intermediate team came 7th in the teams. Bob Grover competed well in the NZ Open Pairs against the country’s top players.
